This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you can return products purchased from our website (https://ecivilmart.in/) and receive a refund or exchange.

1. Our Commitment to Quality and Inspection

E Civil Mart aims to deliver only the best building materials to your site in Bangalore. We encourage our customers (engineers, project owners, contractors) to thoroughly inspect all received products at the time of delivery. Any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns should be noted immediately upon receipt.

2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You may be eligible for a return or refund under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If the construction materials delivered are found to be damaged during transit, visibly defective, or not fit for their intended use.

  • Incorrect Products Delivered: If you receive building materials that do not match the specifications of your confirmed order (e.g., wrong brand of cement, incorrect size of blocks, different grade of TMT steel).

  • Missing Items: If any items from your confirmed order are missing at the time of delivery.

3. Non-Eligible Items for Return & Refund

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund, except in cases of manufacturing defect or incorrect delivery as per Section 2:

  • Products damaged after delivery: Items that incur damage after being accepted at the delivery location.

  • Used or Altered Products: Any construction materials that have been used, installed, cut, mixed, or altered from their original condition.

  • Custom-Made or Special Order Items: Products specifically fabricated or procured based on your unique specifications (e.g., custom-sized windows, bespoke architectural hardware).

  • Perishable Goods: Materials with a limited shelf life once opened or used (e.g., certain chemicals, opened paint cans).

  • Discrepancies Not Noted at Delivery: Any damages, defects, or missing items that were not clearly noted on the delivery receipt or reported to our delivery personnel/customer support at the time of delivery.

  • Minor Variations: Small aesthetic variations or natural inconsistencies inherent in certain building materials (e.g., natural stone, wood grains) that do not affect the product’s functionality or quality.

  • Market Price Fluctuations: No refunds or returns will be accepted solely based on changes in market prices after the order has been confirmed and delivered.

4. Timeframe for Raising a Return/Refund Request

All requests for returns or refunds due to damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items must be initiated within 24 hours of the delivery time. Requests made after this timeframe may not be accepted.

5. How to Initiate a Return/Refund Request

To initiate a return or refund request, please follow these steps:

  3. Await Confirmation: Our team will review your request and may arrange for an inspection or pick-up of the materials.

6. Inspection and Approval Process

Once we receive your return request and supporting evidence:

  • Our team may conduct an on-site inspection at the delivery location or request the return of the disputed construction materials to our facility (Shop no-2, Rajyotsava Nagar, 3rd main, Kumaraswamy layout 2nd stage, Bangalore 560078, India) for a thorough quality check.

  • The approval of a return or refund is at the sole discretion of E Civil Mart, based on the findings of our inspection and adherence to this policy.

7. Refund Process

If your return or refund request is approved:

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.

    • For Online Transactions, the refund will be credited back to your bank account or original payment source within 5-7 business days after approval.

    • For Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, the refund will be processed via bank transfer to your provided bank account details within 5-7 business days after approval.

  • Refund Amount: The refund amount will typically cover the cost of the returned or eligible building materials. Delivery charges may or may not be refundable, depending on the reason for the return (e.g., if the fault is ours, delivery charges will be refunded).

8. Partial Refunds

E Civil Mart reserves the right to offer partial refunds in certain situations, such as:

  • If only a portion of the delivered construction materials is damaged or incorrect.

  • If products are returned in a condition that requires re-packaging or incurs minor damage not due to our fault.

  • If a return is accepted outside the standard timeframe under exceptional circumstances.

9. Exchanges

If you received damaged, defective, or incorrect building materials, and if stock is available, E Civil Mart may offer to replace the items with the correct ones. The exchange process will follow a similar inspection and approval procedure as outlined for returns.

10. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Pre-Delivery Cancellation: Orders for construction materials can be canceled prior to dispatch for delivery. Please contact our customer support immediately. A full refund will be processed for pre-paid orders.

  • Post-Dispatch Cancellation: Once products have been dispatched for delivery (typically within 1 day of order confirmation), cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover logistics costs.

  • Custom Orders: Cancellation of custom-made or special order building materials may not be possible once production has begun, or may incur significant charges.
